Integrating IEC61850 Devices into the Management Platform

Scenario

You want to integrate IEC61850 devices into the management platform. For background information, see the reference section.

Prerequisites

• An active IEC 61850 driver license is available in the Licensed Products tab in the License Management Utility (LMU). The IEC61850 driver becomes available only when the new license option GMS_opt_IEC61850 is activated.
• You have the software distribution containing the IEC61850.
• You have installed IEC61850 and have added it to a management station project using the SMC.
• System Browser is in Management View.
