Installing the Hanwha Samsung SSM Provider Software

  • You want to connect to the Hanwha Samsung SSM video management system. You must install the provider software on the Desigo CC server. For background information, see Hanwha Samsung SSM Overview.
  • After installation, the HanwhaSamsungProvider.msi file is available in [Installation Drive]:\[Installation Folder]\GMSMainProject\AddSW\Hanwha_Samsung_SSM locally or over the network.
  1. Uninstall any previous version of this provider.
  1. Run HanwhaSamsungProvider.msi.
  1. Follow the wizard instructions to complete the installation.
  1. When the installation is completed, do the following:
  • In C:\Program Files\[Company Name]\Video API\Api\Provider\HanwhaSamsungSSM\Prerequisites, run as administrator the PrerequisitesInstaller.bat batch file.
  • The following prerequisites are installed: Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 redistributable package (x86), Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 redistributable package (x64), and the VmsProviderDirectory system environment variable.
