Configure the Scopes for Events Reactions Scripts

  1. Select Project > System Settings > Scopes.
  2. The Scopes tab displays.
  3. Configure all the required scope rules to include the appropriate macros and system objects.
    Use case: Create the scopes for the events reactions script to be set with read and write access rights.
    a. In System Browser, select the wanted site view previously created.
    b.     Drag the system objects belonging to the selected view to Scope Rules.
    c. Click Save As .
    d. In the Save Object As dialog box, enter a meaningful name and description (for example, Dept100 Read) and click OK.

    e. In System Browser, select Application View.
    f.     Drag the previously created macros to Scope Rules.
    g. In System Browser, select the wanted site view previously created.
    h.     Drag the system objects belonging to the selected view to Scope Rules.
    i. Click Save As .
    j. In the Save Object As dialog box, enter a meaningful name and description (for example, Dept100 Write) and click OK.
  1. The scopes created here can now be linked to the user group. Those scopes will apply to specified macros and system objects.
