Create the Modbus Driver

  1. Depending on where the driver will run, select one of the following:
    • Project > Management System > Servers > Main Server > Drivers
    • Project > Management System > FEPs > [FEP station] > [drivers folder]
      NOTE:       If the [drivers folder] is not available, to create it select the [FEP station] and click New .
  2. In the Object Configurator tab, click New and select New Modbus Driver.
  3. In the New object dialog box, enter a description and click OK.
    NOTE: To avoid difficulties and mistakes in choosing the driver in multi-selection lists, do not use the same description on the Desigo CC server and FEP stations.
  1. The newly created Modbus driver is added to System Browser, but not started.
