Multiple standard Modbus libraries can exist in the system. You can use these libraries to define standard Modbus points in your network. You can import Modbus points according to the object models defined in the library.

The Modbus library tag refers to a standard Modbus library. This tag is mandatory; however, you can ignore it if the CSV file contains the points for custom object models only. In order to find the name of the Modbus library, see Verifying the Modbus Library from the Additional Modbus Procedures section .

The Modbus library is defined using the following field.

Modbus Library Data
	Description
LibraryName	Name of the Modbus library. NOTE: The Importer rejects this library entry if this field is empty. You cannot parse or import any points in the absence of any valid library entry. The Importer does not assume any default library. The Importer only looks at the first occurrence of the library tag in the CSV. It ignores all the other occurrences of the library tag, even if they are valid.
