Configure the General Settings for the Step

  1. Select Project > System Settings > Operating Procedures > [operating procedure template].
  2. The Operating Procedures tab displays.
  3. Open the General Settings expander.
  4. The execution order displays by default and cannot be edited.
    NOTE: The execution order of a step depends on the order in which it is associated with an Operating Procedure (the order in the System Browser).
  5. Do the following:
    a. From the Execution Mode drop-down list, select the mode of step execution.
    b. From the Repeatable drop-down list, specify whether the step must be repeated.
    c. From the Mandatory drop-down list, specify whether the step is mandatory.
    d. (Optional) In the Notes section, enter comments.
