HikVision Integration
The HikVision extension provides a provider to connect Desigo CC to the HikVision video surveillance system. In particular, it enables communication between the Video API (installed by the Video Management extension) and the HikVision video surveillance system.
The provider is not part of the Desigo CC installation. After installation, the provider MSI file is available in [Installation Drive]:\[Installation Folder]\GMSMainProject\AddSW\HikVision_150.

The Video extension is a prerequisite for the installation of this extension, as it installs the Video API to use with Desigo CC libraries to represent the video objects, and Video Manager that allows the communication between Desigo CC and the Video API.
This extension is covered by Desigo CC standard licensing.
The integration and configuration workflow is the same as for any other video management system in Desigo CC.
Once the video system is connected, the video surveillance devices available in the HikVision configuration are automatically imported into Desigo CC.
In Desigo CC, the following are also configured:
- Video monitors (to display live video images or play back images) organized in monitor groups.
- Video sequences

- Playback of video tracks recorded by the HikVision application
