Reserving Licenses to Specific Servers

By default, to avoid race condition in distributed systems, the ability to reserve licenses to specific servers is granted and one individual max client license is pulled from the main server.

To handle this behavior, see the following procedure.

  1. In System Browser, select Management View.
  2. Select Project > Management System > Servers > Main Server > Licenses.
  3. Select the Extended Operation tab.
  4. Next to Use Max Client property, do one of the following:
    • Select True for the main server and click Change.
    • Select False for the multiple connected servers below and click Change.
  1. The Desigo CC project will consume the MAX-Client license option (sbt_gms_add_max_cl).
